A Dynamic Decision Support System for Sustainable Supplier Selection under Fuzzy Environment

The plastics business has grown rapidly in recent years, with annual growth rates ranging from 16% to 18% each year (second only the telecommunications and textile industries). plastic industry is regarded as a dynamic Vietnamese economy due its rapid development rate. Its high stems big market significant expansion potential, since Vietnam’s sector still early stages comparison rest of globe goods are pushed utilized many aspects life. In order ensure sustainable comply provisions Law on Environment Protection, manufactures importers must fulfill two responsibilities: (1) proper product packaging recycling—applicable products recyclable value; (2) collection treatment waste—applicable containing hazardous substances, difficult recycle, causing difficulties for waste treatment. Therefore, raw materials supplier selection complex decision, decision makers consider qualitative factors, quantitative factors environmental attributes during making. As result, goal this study present an integrated multicriteria making model (MCDM) strategy under fuzzy environment circumstances. This paper makes contribution by proposing hybrid analytic hierarchy process (AHP) technique preference similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS) approach material sector. research also provided useful guideline other industries.
